I am trying to catch up on the younger boys scrapbooks and this is another entry for Hunter's book. I have decided that I should scrap major events throughout the year and be satisfied with what I have been able to get into the book. I will work backwards in terms of the years that I scrap and possibly by the time he gets out of HS ..... I will have his book done ! WINK WINK ! :)

We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend here at the beach ! I spent Saturday at the beach with Hunter, my sister Lisa, my BIL Jim and their boys Matt and Andrew. It was very hot! Today was a bit cooler by about 20 Degrees ! It was a glorious spring day here. Temps in the upper 60's and sunny w/o a cloud in the sky. I enjoyed breakfast in bed compliments of Parker and Hunter and sat outside for a bit before baking an Angel Food cake, Brownies, and sugar cookies to take to Lisa and Jim's for a wonderful Mother's Day BBQ !! It was a great day .

I have been scrapping quite a bit lately. My sister Lisa and I have been able to get together once a week for a few hours to scrap and we attended a 4 day crop at the beginning of April in Amish Country PA at a place called the "COZY CROP HOUSE". It is a wonderful way to get away, enjoy great food and to spend alot of 'girlfriend time' !! We had a ball and here a few of my creations from that weekend..........

It's a Wonderful Life !!
We had a great weekend with all of the kids home for a few days. Haleigh was still on spring break and Tyler flew home from Alabama. Lyndsay drove up from Savannah with Olivia and Callie and Jeremy joined us for the weekend. The weather was gorgeous on Saturday. Hunter had a soccer match in the morning and after lunch, we all headed to the beach. It was sunny but windy. It was just nice hanging out with all the kids. Jim and Lisa were there with Matt and Andrew. It was the first "OFFICIAL BEACH DAY" of the 2010 season. We enjoyed lots of good food, a family game night and a Sunday brunch with the whole gang. It was sad to see them leave this evening but I look forward to Easter when everyone will be home again to celebrate the holiday.

WOW...it sure has been a long time since my last post... Christmas was crazy busy and I had alot of year end accounting work to get done. We totally enjoyed the holidays with Tyler, Lyndsay and Austin being home for a few days !! Lyndsay and Austin have a new baby puppy named "OLIVIA" she is just the sweetest little pup that you have ever seen.
Now that they holidays are over, I have been trying to get a bit of scrapping done. I have several new LO's that I need to photograph and get posted here.
I have also decided that I need to revamp my exercise routine..... I ordered P-90X and I am awaiting the arrival of the box. It should be interesting at best..... I may be sorry that I even "Thought" that I could master the hour long sessions but we shall see. I off to make dinner and hopefully I can get those LO's posted up here later on tonight !

Here is a new LO for a scraplift challenge over at HSS.... You had to find a LO in the gallery from all of the new DT LO's and scaplift one of them ! I have had these old xmas photos laying around forever so I was glad to get them scrapped.

WOW.... It has been much too long since my last post. I have been busy getting the 2 girls moved to Sanannah. Lynsay and Austin moved at the beginning of the month into a 3 bedroom house just a few blocks from downtown and Haleigh moved into the dorm at SCAD this past weekend. Classes started for both Austin and Haleigh this past Monday. Tyler also moved over the weekend. He has taken a job with a Construction Company from Sumpter SC and they have sent him off to Mobile ALA to work for 7 mos on a steel mill that they are under contract to build. I cannot believe that the older 3 kids are actually gone and now Parker and Hunter are the only ones left. Making school lunches is very strange with only 2 to pack now. I have been busy with my DT work over at HSS the past few days and will try to post my new Sept. DT LO's !

This blog is clearly a work in progress !! I figured out how to upload the pretty wallpaper for the sides but have yet to figure out how to get my NEW HEADER posted here !! It is entirely too late to be trying to do this so I am headed to bed and maybe a fresh mind in the morning will help ! :)

My First Blog Post

WOO HOO...How exciting to finally have a blog !! I have been wanting to do this for a very long time and now it is finally done !! I just need to figure out how to put up that really neat "wallpaper" to make this blog "pretty" !
Well the kids went back to school yesterday and that was a total bummer for me.... I just LOVE the summer and the laid back, relaxed, unstructured days of summer. It is going to be very hard to get back into some sort of routine !!! I am hoping that I will be able to find more time to scrap and work on the curtains in the house this fall.... we shall see how that goes.
